Is kanamycin safe for my African dwarf frogs?

One of my two ADF that I just adopted is very bloated. He was bloated when we got him, but we thought he was just fat. Turns out after internet research, that is not the case. I am finding very conflicing information on the internet as to whether or not kanamycin is safe for ADF. We have a betta in the same tank (10 gallon) and he just developed a bacterial infection on his back. We want to treat the whole tank since there appears to be an issue with both the Betta and one of the ADF and need a medication that is effective and safe for both species. Help!
