Why don't people realize repealing DADT is taking away religious freedoms?

First of all...religion has no right to play a role in policies of the military..Secondly...if someone can do the job (any) whether or not they are gay should not be an issue...As far as civil liberties goes...what about the separation of church and state..passing laws forbidding homosexuality violates our Constitution since the only basis for the belief is Biblical..As far as DADT violating chaplain's first amendment..it also violates the rights of Homosexuals in the military who are actually willing to fight for and serve this country...I think their rights supercede the rights of religious leaders who are volunteering to provide spiritual guidance.
