EDUCATION REQUIREMENT NOT MET IN ARMY?

I am 22 and applying to join the army as steward . i have completed year 10. now the recruitment office wanted my report card but i lost all of them because its been ages. i called my school and they told me they and the school board have destroyed all records also. the adf told me to get a letter stating i was at the school which i did and i also attached my resume . now the adf saying i am not meting the education requirements since i cant prove anything and my case will be looked by a senior officer. what chances do i have . what else can i do>?
