The hyacinth macaw and questions about breeding etc?

Well im asking people who have experience . I'm just curious cause i might one day want to get involved with these beautiful creatures and perhaps breed one day when i get experience. I hear they lay 2 eggs per year when 2 of them mate. Does the 2nd one always die? Is there a way to save it? How much do they sell for i hear anywhere between $6,000 and $15,000? I hear they need alot of attention so if your going to work for half the day how do you give them attention or do you breeders just make a living off of breeding? Are they vicious or friendly type of creatures? I remember when i was little i'd always see this blue beautiful bird in the pet center in Salem, NH. I always wondered how much he would cost but he was never for sale lol just a spectator in the store lol. Anyways any tips or facts about them you want to throw in go for it . Now remember guys this is all just a maybe one day thing im just interested right now in learning of them. thanks
